Terms And Conditions

1. Age Categories (As on 4th January 2026 – Completed Age Basis)
  • Open Category: All eligible participants
  • 36 to 45 years
  • 46 to 55 years
  • 56 to 65 years
  • 65 years and above
  • Note: Completed Age Basis means that the participant must have completed the minimum required age on or before 4th January 2026.
  • Example:
  • If you are participating in the 10 KM Run (minimum participation age 12 years), you must have completed 12 years by 4th January 2026.If your 12th birthday falls on 5th January 2026 or later, you will not be eligible.
  • Similarly for age categories:
  • Suppose a participant is 45 years and 8 months old on 4th January 2026.Their completed age is 45 years (even though they are closer to 46, we count completed years only). Therefore, they will fall under the 36 to 45 years category.
  • Similarly:
  • If a participant is 46 years and 2 months old on 4th January 2026, their completed age is 46 years, so they will fall under the 46 to 55 years category.
2. Podium Eligibility & Prize Money Rules
  • Only runners aged 16 years and above are eligible for podium prizes in all categories.
  • Nationality Criteria: 1. Open Category podiums are restricted to Indian nationals. 2. Age Category podiums are open to all nationalities.
  • Prize Money: Total Prize Money Pool: ₹4,00,000/- (Final structure will be announced two weeks before race day.)
  • If a runner qualifies for podiums in both Open and Age Category, only the higher prize money will be awarded.
3. Timing, Finish Position & Objection Policy
  • Finish Positions for all runners will be based on Chip Time.
  • In case of objection by a fellow runner: Both Gun Time and Chip Time will be reviewed , The final decision will be taken by the authorized Athletics Association officials , Their decision will be final and binding.
  • Timing mats will be placed at Start, Finish, and key points on the route.
  • Participants must wear the bib visibly for timing to be valid.
4. Protests and Appeals
  • Appeals against race results must be submitted in writing within 30 minutes of official result declaration.
  • Appeal Fee: ₹1000/- (Refundable if appeal is upheld).
  • Decision of the Race Director and Organizers will be final.
  • Legal Jurisdiction: Ratnagiri, Maharashtra courts.
5. Health, Safety & Conduct
  • Participation is voluntary; participants are responsible for their health.
  • Consultation with a medical professional before the race is strongly recommended.
6. Race Day Instructions
  • Arrive at the venue at least 45 minutes prior to your scheduled race start time.
  • Bibs must be worn properly during the race and prize distribution ceremony.
  • Finisher medals must be collected on race day itself. No post-race delivery requests will be entertained.
7. Media and Promotions
  • By registering, participants grant the organizers the right to use their names, photographs, videos, and race results for promotional purposes without any compensation.
